M.A., Counselor (telehealth only)

Madison Driscoll

Madison Driscoll is a LaGrange native who completed her M.A. in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Northwestern University. She earned her B.A. in Political Science with a minor in Women’s Studies from Auburn University. Before becoming a therapist, Madison worked as a 200-hour Registered Yoga Teacher, with training in Vinyasa, Yin, and Ashtanga yoga. Her background in yoga continues to shape the way she views mental health, particularly the importance of caring for the whole person and recognizing the connection between our minds, bodies, and experiences. During graduate school, Madison’s research focused on postpartum depression, an area that deepened her passion for supporting women through the many emotional and personal transitions that can come with motherhood.

Madison believes that therapy is most meaningful when you feel genuinely seen, heard, and accepted for who you are. She especially enjoys working with teenagers and young women as they navigate identity, relationships, self-esteem, life transitions, and the many challenges that can come with growing into who you are. She also works with clients navigating trauma, difficult life experiences, and personal growth. Her approach is warm, compassionate, and person-centered, while also drawing from psychodynamic therapy to help clients better understand themselves and the experiences that have shaped them. Madison is EMDR trained and is currently working toward certification, with a particular interest in supporting clients as they process difficult or traumatic experiences. Above all, she strives to create a safe, judgment-free space where clients can be honest, feel supported, and feel comfortable being exactly who they are.

Madison now lives in Washington, D.C., with her husband and children, who are her greatest joy and proudest accomplishment. Although she has moved away from her hometown, Madison is grateful for the opportunity to continue working with clients through telehealth. When she is not in the counseling space, you can usually find her spending time with her family, practicing yoga, or enjoying the many things she loves about life in D.C.
